Sweet World

Roles: Scripting, Character Design, Animation, Texturing, Rigging, Character feel, System handling , Game Design, Quality Assurance

  • This is my current solo project where I am working on a zen game to show off my skills in different areas.

  • I liked the idea of creating a world themed around desserts, where you play as a jelly filled doughnut exploring and interacting with a world full of anthropomorphised desserts.

  • I created quick 3D prototypes in Maya to use in Unity. Within Unity I created a material shader to bend the vertices of models to allow for a rolling horizon similar to 'Animal Crosssing'. I created systems in Unity to edit and tweak the character, controls and camera. At each stage after a major aspect is created, I take a step back to eveluate the optimization of the game ensuring a consistent quality.

  • The current build that I have created the core systems this includes movement system, save and load system and a inventory system for item collection.
