Gustys Adventure
Roles: Content Design, Level Design, Quality Assurance
-
Collaborated with a team of 4 in a 48-hour COP26 Game Jam to develop a climate change-based video game, aimed at raising awareness of climate related issues, hosted by Glasgow Caledonian University.
-
Our game was a 2D platformer called Gustys Adventure, which raised awareness on funding needed for wind farms to create more renewable energy sources.
-
Used Unreal Engines 2D platformer preset to create the game.
-
The inspiration for this game was from an old film called the brave little toaster also from retro platformer games that provide a challenge but also leave you with a sense of accomplishment.
-
I am proud that our game won the online public vote for the COP26 Game Jam.
Enjoy playing!
